The Darien Library, Take Advantage of All It Has to Offer!

Located at 1441 Post Road in Darien, CT, the Darien Library offers a wide range or resources, programs and fun for families. With its focus on technology, customer service and education, it’s no wonder the Darien library ranks among the top 10 public libraries in the country. According to the library’s statistics, more than 88% of residents hold library cards, demonstrating the wild popularity of the library and its programs.
Built in 2008 and opened in 2009, the new library not only includes a collection of over 150,000 books and 300 newspapers and magazines, but also a plethora of services and programs to meet the needs of all residents, both big and small. The library provides a number of programs designed for all ages, including story times, summer reading programs and book discussions. In addition, the library offers space for local community organization meetings and display space which is often utilized by local artists.
