Each Thursday evening from now through August 27th, free, live music can be enjoyed at one of three convenient, outdoor spots. The venue changes weekly between Grove Street Plaza, Gofer Plaza and the Plaza behind 1020 Post Road. No matter what your musical tastes include – jazz, rock & roll, or acoustic music, you are in for a great time. The musicians play between 6pm and 10pm. So stop by one of Darien’s terrific downtown restaurants for an early dinner and come out and enjoy the sounds of summer on the Plaza.
On four Tuesdays this summer, lose yourself in a free, classic movie at Tilley Park. Stop by early in the evening and drop off your lawn chairs to save your spot and then enjoy a dinner out or bring a picnic and dine will you watch. Hot buttered popcorn and Gofer Ice Cream will also be available. The movies start at dusk. Parking is available across the street at the Train Station.
